What's on the CD-ROM

The CD-ROM contains the digital images (76 original photos!), as well as the screensaver and wallpaper changer software, which will display the images for you. The images and the software are installed and configured automatically. The automatic uninstaller is included, too. The software on the disc is compatible with Windows XP/2000/NT4 and Windows Me/98/95. You need approximately 8 MB of free space on your hard disk to install and use this software.

How to install

Just insert the CD-ROM into the CD drive of your computer, and the installation software should run for you automatically:

The installation requires very minimal interaction on your part: simply make a few selections (like the folder in which you want to install the software, or whether you want the images to be displayed as a screensaver or as a wallpaper), or just accept the default options offered, and the installation program will copy all necessary files from the CD-ROM to your computer's hard disk. It will also configure your computer to display images according to your preferences. Yes, it's that simple!

How to change the display options

Just right-click on the icon installed on your computer desktop with the mouse, and select Configure from the menu. This should open the configuration window of the screensaver and wallpaper software, which you can use to change various options according to your preferences:

You can change how long each image should be displayed when using the screensaver feature, how often the desktop wallpaper should be changed, whether to display the images in their original order or randomly, and so on.

The only limitation of the free preview is the number of images included with it: the free preview contains only 3 images, whereas the full image set contains at least 76 images. It's easy to download and install the free preview software:

Click the link above to begin the download of the installation file znpfree.exe. Your web browser may display a generic warning about downloading the files from the Internet, you may safely ignore that message (we do check for computer viruses in our files with the latest anti-virus software, before making them available for download).
If prompted to open or save the file, choose save, and select a folder on your hard disk (such as "My Downloaded Files", or any other folder where you usually keep the files you are downloading from the Internet).
After the download is complete, open (or run) the file you have downloaded, znpfree.exe, from your hard disk and follow the instructions displayed by it.
During the installation you will be prompted to choose the folder in which to install the software, whether you want to display the images as the wallpaper or screensaver (or both), and several other options. You may wish to accept the default choices, and your computer will automatically be configured to display the Free Preview images as the wallpaper on your desktop, and as the screensaver. We recommend to select the option to install an icon on your desktop to see the images as a slideshow, since you may want to use this icon also to adjust the configuration settings of the software (see above).
That's it, enjoy! If you decide to remove the free preview software and images from your computer, use the Conrol Panel - Add/Remove Programs command of Windows. This will remove the images, software, and even the Zion National Park icon from your desktop. After that, use the Control Panel - Display command of Windows to choose some other the wallpaper image and/or screen saver for your computer.
